Justin Bieber flaunted his new classic Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch at his wedding
Weddings are a time to celebrate all things you and your partner with your close family and friends. If you're a celebrity however, then the whole world is pretty much glued to your festivities. Which brings us to the lavish second wedding of Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin in South Carolina this past weekend.
While all of the singer's friends and family were there to celebrate his special day, Bieber celebrated himself as well in the ebst way possible. The 'Love Yourself" singer splurged on a little something as a wedding present to himself— a solid yellow gold Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch. While the exact retail price is not known, there's currently one listed online for approximately $65,000.
So what makes this watch so special? Well apart from the fact that it's solid gold, the Royal Oak has an octagonal bezel surrounded by hexagonal screws. Within the complex structure houses the world’s thinnest self-winding movement. The watch has a “tapisserie” dial with integrated bracelet, and was first launched in 1972.
It’s the flagship watch from Audemars Piguet, and has been around for over 40 years which is about 20 years longer than Bieber has been on this planet.
He showed off his latest purchase in an Instagram post before saying 'I do'.
While the jury is out on the exact amount Bieber spent on his new timepiece, we can't helped but be impressed by his classic and iconic choice.
