Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes sack four employees over 'racist bullying' of Muslim colleague

Lewis Hamilton's Formula One team, Mercedes, has fired four employees over discrimination and racist bullying of a Muslim colleague.
The team led an inquiry into a complaint by Muslim employee in July that led to the firing of four workers.
The statement from the team said: "We condemn this behaviour in the strongest terms and acted immediately. We value the diversity of our employees and it is a source of strength for our team. Our working environment is based on appreciation and mutual respect."
The Sun reported that the individuals referred to the complainant as a “Muslim terrorist f**k”. They also signed a poll that took guesses at when the employee would break his Ramadan fast and pinned it up on a board at the Brackley team headquarters.
The final appeal hearings for the individuals involved was in August and they were found in breach of the team's diversity policy.
Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has been an outspoken advocate against racism in the past.
A source told the UK newspaper: "This was a really horrible case of racist bullying. They had been picking on one Muslim guy for years. It all came to light when they pinned up the poll. The guys who were sacked had all signed and dated it. It's outrageous, especially with Lewis being so outspoken about racism."
