Gerard Butler once again at the top of the box office
Hollywood's favourite Scotsman has killed at the box office this week. Gerard Butler is back with another chart topping movie, the third in the Fallen franchise, Angel has Fallen.
The action-packed film also stars Morgan Freeman as the US President and the plot roughly follows Butler, playing a Secret Service agent Mike Banning, being wrongly accused of trying to assasinate the President.
In the first movie in 2013, Olympus Has Fallen, saw a North Korean group take control of the White House and in the process destroy half of Washington, D.C., and of course included a nuclear bomb threat as well.
In the second movie released in 2016, London Has Fallen, a Pakistani arms dealer destroys London and kills a number of world leaders.
So far, the third movie has hit about $43.6 million at the box office and is way ahead of the other movies out so far.
