A$AP Rocky fans chant “F**k Sweden” at his Finland concert
Following A$AP Rocky’s ‘altercation’ in Stockholm, the rapper is back at work. Upon his return, fans came together to express their anger at Sweden.
A$AP Rocky is back at the game, headlining fests, rapping and firing up his roaring audience. Following the Stockholm ordeal, the young star went to Blockfest in Finland to return to what he knows best.
Fans, without any kind of prompting, came together at Rocky’s concert to chant “F**k Sweden”. The distain at the country comes after the rapper was held in a jail cell in Stockholm following charges of assault.
Everyone from Post Malone to Donald Trump got in on the situation, though it ultimately ended with the rapper being charged with assault, getting two years of probation and paying damages to the victim of around US $1,105.
After headlining a festival in Stockholm, Sweden, Rocky, two of his entourage and his security guard were hassled by two young locals. After continuing annoyance and claims of one of the locals throwing his headphones at the bodyguard, Rocky and his entourage tackled the local after he attempted to make a swing.
Footage showed Rocky kicking the victim in the stomach over and over. While Rocky and legions of his fans claimed this was a response to the hassling and attempted punch, the Swedish justice system deemed the moment worthy of assault charges.
Where the story really heated up is when news broke out that Rocky was held up in a jail cell in Stockholm for weeks. Not just any cell though, as it was reported his cell had "inhumane" living conditions, with Rocky sleeping on a yoga mat and eating only a single apple a day. Those close to him stated that the cell was disease-ridden and unsafe.
Sparking a global response thanks to all the celebs Rocky is friends with, Kanye West asked Donald Trump to get on the case. When Sweden wouldn't budge on releasing Rocky just because Trump said so, things got even more out of hand:
“The government of the United States of America wants to resolve this case as soon as possible to avoid potentially negative consequences to the U.S.-Swedish bilateral relationship,” Amb. Robert O’Brien wrote.
That's right, not only are Rocky fans thinking "f**k Sweden", but the U.S. was threatening to do the same regarding trade relations.
Trump himself was sympathetic towards Rocky's side of things throughout the ordeal, however he never went as far to 'f**k Sweden.

Things have cooled down now as Rocky is back to work with a tiny dent in his immense wealth. His next fests are in Netherlands, Mexico and Canada, his first return was in Anaheim, where fans also chanted "f**k Sweden."
