Audi unveils first-ever compact crossover: Q3 Sportback
Audi has released its first-ever compact SUV Coupe; the Q3 Sportback. It will hit roads this Autumn 2019.
The new Q3 is slightly larger – but also lower – than the classic Q3, and come in 11 different colours. At launch, the Sportback will come in either gasoline (230-horsepower) and diesel (150/190-horsepower) engines, with an S Tronic 7-speed gearbox.
Like most new Audi motors, the Q3 will also come with a 48-volt hybrid system which – besides increasing comfort, while driving – will reduce fuel consumption.
The Q3 Sportback comes with six different driving profiles, which take into account everything from engine and transmission setup, to shock absorption and steering assistance.
Inside the car, you get MMI Navigation Plus and all the online services of Audi Connect. Drivers also have the option to spring for Alexa support, which will let Amazon’s voice helper handle navigation and infotainment.
The new Audi Q3 Sportback has adaptive cruise control and a lane change warning system, built into its electronic stability program.
Audi will be launching the Sportback in September 2019. For the launch, the brand plans to issue ‘Edition One’ models with either special ‘dew silver’ or ‘mythos black’ finishes.
