Now open for the 2019 season, The Bodrum EDITION launched by Ian Schrager last year, in partnership with Marriott International, now has a cinema on the beach.
Located three kilometers from Yalikavak Marina at the western point of the Bodrum peninsula, the resort has has collaborated with MUBI – the hand-curated cinema streaming service – offering a weekly movie screenings on the property’s 100-meter-long beach of locally-sourced powdered white marble sand.
With a curated programme of screenings, from cult-classics to award winning pasterpieces, the pop-up cinema will be open every Monday evening from 9pm on a complimentary basis, for both hotel guests and the public to enjoy. Throughout the season until 31st October, film-buffs and amentures alike can sink their toes into the sand, don a pair of specially provided headphones and enjoy the likes of Martin McDonagh’s In Bruge and David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolsis as the sun sets.
Pre or post-film, guests can also dine at two signature evening restaurants BRAVA and Morena – by pioneering peruvian chef, Diego Muñoz – grab drinks at Beach Bar or BRAVA Bar and party into the night at Discetto, the nightclub at The Bodrum EDITION.
Furthermore, the partnership between The Bodrum EDITION and MUBI will see all guests of the hotel gifted a thirty-day membership to movie streaming platform to enjoy in-room and post-travels.
