All hail Donald Glover and his pyjama suit
Over the course of a few short months, Donald Glover rode the waves of Atlanta and Solo: A Star Wars Story to become a style saint in his own right, thanks to his embroidered Met Gala suit and seventies-tinged outfits (usually accompanied by something from British-American label Band Of Outsiders).
Then things went quiet. Glover presumably retreated into a brand new home, one in the rolling hills of LA with a permanent yoga studio. Yes, he bleached his beard, but the consistent parade was missing.
Until now, anyway. As the big Lion King campaign kicks off, Glover is back with a vengeance.
Glover has opted for one of the boldest moves in the book: the pyjama suit. A head-to-toe, wonderful, floral, lovely pyjama suit.
As a trend pioneered by New York outfit Sies Marjan, the statement piece is becoming an increasingly popular move Hollywood-side and, better yet, has cut the ribbon on what could be Donald Glover's Second Coming.
