Dubai-based entrepreneur picked to compete in Amazon Prime reality TV series
The show, The Social Movement, is filmed in Montreal and will follow 40 entrepreneurs, CEOs and investors from around the world who will aim to solve socio-economic issues that are impacting the planet, including wage inequality, access to affordable health care, global warming, hunger and homelessness.
In teams, the contestants will be paired with not-for-profit organisations to create a business strategy, and will have to overcome a series of challenges and pitching rounds.
Similar to the hit show The Apprentice that starred now US President Donald Trump, the show will have an ultimate “pitch off” in front of an audience. The winning team’s not-for-profit will win the investment prize and The Social Movement team will return for season 2 to defend their crown.
