Will Smith is facing his fears in Dubai
If you ask a Hollywood A-lister to describe his bucket list, you really wouldn't think there would be things to check off. Well, Will Smith has a lot of things on his bucket list, including swimimg with sharks, stand up comedy, Bollywood dancing and making Jada Pinkett Smith jump out of an airplane.
Having turned 50 late last year, one could say Will Smith was ready to meet all his fears. In first episode of his new Facebook Watch series, Will Smith’s Bucket List, he brings the entire family to 'his favourite city on earth’ - Dubai.
The Men in Black actor loves Dubai, and that's pretty evident in this episode.
“Lovin’ Dubai from the Sea”, he said in a social media post back in October.
"My wife made the mistake of telling me that she would do whatever I wanted for my birthday. And then what I told her was that I wanted her to skydive with me."
The Smiths also went to the Burj Khalifa, dune bashing in the desert where things starting going very wrong for Will Smith.
"Before the jump, I wanted Jada to unwind, so we headed to the desert to relax," Smith said. "Jada, you know, she's been the glue of our family, and a mother and a wife. Our life can be wildly constricting for her. I think she was going to experience the greatest rush of freedom and exhilaration that she's ever had in her life."
He posted on Instagram with the caption "Family Time in Dubai. I can’t wait to show y’all what we’re shooting!" to accompany a photo of himself, Jada and son Trey, taken by photographer Alan Silfen out in the desert in October. Willow and Jaden tagged along on the trip as well.
