EVENT: The Esquire Influencer Party 2019
"No Influence = No Party" was the tagline written on the invite to Esquire's latest exclusive get together. A hand-picked invite list of the great and the good made their way to the ultra-stylish, newly-opened bar of Kizmet Dubai for the reveal of Esquire Middle East's annual 'Influencer Issue'.
On hand to help to unveil his first global magazine cover was the evening's special guest, social media superstar Zach King, who looked as sharp as you've ever seen him in his outfit from the event's official partners Suitsupply.
A who's who of the region's most impactful men's influencers were lead to the exquisite upstairs bar at Kizmet for the 'if you know, you know' style party, revelling in food and drinks so good that Kizmet has already earned itself a place in the 2019 edition of Esquire 50 Best Restaurants in the Gulf list.
"We're here tonight to honour the people in the digital media industry who we feel use their positions in the right way," said Esquire's Editor in chief, Matthew Baxter-Priest in a short speech. "The criteria for this year's issue was not based on size of audience (which you can buy), but on selecting people who are using their position as authorities to better those around them (which you can’t buy). It is about taking responsibility and leading by example - Zach King is a shining example of that."
Before introducing King to unveil the March 2019 issue of Esquire Middle East, Baxter-Priest (who was dressed in Suitsupply) revealed that five people would also be winning their own Suitsupply outfits.
Following the reveal, via a blitz of Instastories and Live coverage, the party alone saw a reach of more than 30 million people globally, with an astounding 20 percent engagement rate. Because Much Influence = Much Party.
