Hand-cannons at the ready: Ali-A is in town to play Fortnite

There are two types of people in the world; those totally unaware of what Fortnite is and everyone else who is completely obsessed with it. And that's not an overstatement.
In the UK, Fortnite was cited on more than 200 divorce certificates (which bumped up the official divorce rate by 5 per cent at the start of the year). It's fair then, to say that some people take the battle royale-style game very seriously.
One such person is Ali-A (real name: Alister Aiken) who plays Fortnite for the internet as a job. He has more than 15 million YouTube subscribers under his belt, 2.5 million on Instagram and a couple thousand more on live streaming platform Twitch. If you know who he is, then you probably fall in the latter mentioned 'obsessed' category.
Ali-A will be twiddling his thumbs for work this weekend in celebration of Fortnite: Season Six. It kicks off later today, and to celebrate Ali-A will make an appearance at City Center Mirdif's 'Fortnite Zone'. He'll be playing a few games with some local influencers (including MO_Vlogs and DVLZGame) on stage from November 15-18.
Elsewhere, a Fornite "flash mob" will be taking place (demonstrating that not even gamers know how a flash mob is supposed to work).
The experience zone is open to the Fortnite public from 10am–10pm. Everyone is welcome to stop by, but only the best/most obsessed players will earn themselves a change to meet the gamer in person.
Just make sure to kiss your wife first. We don't need any more broken homes.
