Go inside the Esquire Townhouse: Il Borro Tuscan Bistro
Tell us that a fashion brand is trying to infiltrate the world of F&B and we’d normally roll our eyes, but to overlook Il Borro Tuscn Bistro would be a big mistake.
The restaurant based at the Jumeirah Al Naseem hotel is owned by the Ferragamo family (yes, that one), this traditional Tuscan bistro prides itself on making everything by hand and diligently sourcing its ingredients organically from the Il Borro farm in Tuscany.
Offering a modern interpretation of the Tuscan cuisine, its commitment to finer details allows it to ensure it follows an ethical, sustainable and biodynamic philosophy. In just the space of a few years, it is widely regarded as one of the best (and most authentic) Italian restaurants in Dubai.
On Day Two of the Esquire Townhouse, an invite-only list of private guests were treated to a bespoke dinner menu from Il Borro's talented team. The dishes included melt-in-the-mouth Burrata, Polpo di Pomodoro and the restaurant's famous mushroom risotto. Oh, and a cheesecake that is, quite frankly, preposterously delicious.
At the Esquire Townhouse, the Middle East’s leading men’s brand comes to life over three days of activations, talks, masterclasses, fitness sessions and private dinners, all held within in a jaw-dropping, AED60 million private mansion. Throughout the days invited guests can walk into the world of Esquire, with real-life access to the leading voices in style, sport, tech, travel, food and film.
