How to improve your iPhone X camera in one simple step
You've gained 18 new Instagram followers so that pricey iPhone X has pretty much paid for itself—but what if we were to tell you that you can take your crystal-clear camera to even greater heights?
While messing around with Apple’s latest iOS 12 beta software, tech tester Ben Sandofsky found that the Cali tech giants had upgraded the iPhone’s portrait mode with a simple change.
According to T3, the depth perception on the dual camera of the iPhone X doesn’t actually have to use the dual camera.

Using new camera software, Apple has given shots on iOS 12 much higher edge definition by separating the subject from the background.
It should also help define colour, contrast, and sharpness, in theory.
To get the upgrade for yourself, head to the Apple beta Software Program site and sign up (back everything up first, though—it’s only in the experimental stage.)
