Neymar's New Haircut is... actually okay now
Yes, we've been critical of Neymar Jr.'s locks already during this World Cup. And with good reason.
The peroxide Super Noodle crop has plagued the Brazilian wunderkind for years, and worse yet, perpetuates a wider problem of pitch-side style crimes. Footballers aren't exactly known for keeping it classic.
That may be changing, though. The 26-year-old was recently pictured at a training session with a far simpler - and sharper - haircut.
No peroxide. No tramlines. Instead, Neymar's opted to keep his locks shorts - a clever move for those with natural curls - and therefore tidier, with a classic fade to keep it neat on the sides.
Pretty standard, sure. But it's a vast improvement on looking like a character from Tekken. It could even be better, too. Going even shorter would soften the disconnect between the top and the fade, making the cut less severe.
But let's not get ahead of ourselves: after all, this is a man who was wearing a bandana but a year ago.
