The Rock just launched headphones
Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson just launched a pair of wireless headphones with Under Armour, so that you can work out like him. Well, no, not like him. Have you seen the guy? That's impossible. But you can follow his lead.
The headphones are part of the Rock's collab with Under Armour, called Project Rock, and are built to withstand even the most maniacal of fitness routines. They carry 16 hours of charge for multiple trips to the gym and are controlled via hands-free Bluetooth technology.
They're made with weather resistant—i.e. sweat resistant—material, with extra grip for your wet hands. They also feature Under Armour's SuperVent fabric on the ears, which you can remove and wash when the sweat starts to cake up.
JBL supplied the audio tech on these headphones, focusing on richly layered bass for your beat-heavy workout jams. (We're a fan of JBL's Flip 4 speaker, which is a solid offering at a mid-range price.)
And if you're one to take strength from other's encouragement, the Rock's Brahma Bull symbol from his wrestling days is emblazoned on the ears, and the heavy-duty band between them features the words "Blood. Sweat. Respect." Feeling pumped up yet?
Under Armour is selling the Project Rock Edition headphones for US$250 (AED920) a pop starting today. Get ready to sweat.
