Behind-the-scenes at the Esquire Suhoor
Last night saw the very first Esquire Middle East Suhur; a nod to the holy month that was packed with close friends and colleagues.
The evening saw a mixture of good food and even better conversation. As the Esquire team greeted guests at The One & Only Royal Mirage, our friends at The Art of Shaving shared their secrets to the perfect shave.

Meanwhile - between partaking in the generous hospitality of The Palace Ballroom - Suhur-goers were treated to one-on-one demos of the new Volkswagen Teramont and Touareg vehicles, which can now be spotted on roads across the UAE.
As guests tucked in to a feast of traditional mezze, Esquire’s very own digital director talked autonomous driving robots and the luxury car market with Volkswagon Director Andrew Savvas, who admitted that “while many of Volkswagen’s vehicles contain quite a bit of self-driving technology, we’re still a few years out from them driving you home after an event such as this”.
Afterwards, the party moved to The One & Only Royal Mirage’s Arabian Courtyard, for yet more food and drink – as well as traditional shisha tables and more authentic Arabian deserts and nibbles.
