Rami Malik looks incredible as Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody
After months of speculation, rumors, drama, and leaked footage, we finally get our first real look at Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury in the trailer for the upcoming Queen biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody.
Written by Anthony McCarten, the film follows the formation of Queen through their iconic performance at Live Aid in 1985, six years before Mercury's death.
While we only hear Rami voice Mercury in two brief moments in the trailer, he certainly looks the part—specifically in the quintessential images of the singer at Live Aid.
"When I got this role, I thought, 'Oh, this could be a career-defining performance.' And then two minutes later I thought, 'This could be a career killer,'" Malek said during a panel at CinemaCon in April.
Due out on November 2, Bohemian Rhapsody also stars Lucy Boynton, Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy, Joseph Mazzello, Aiden Gillen, Tom Hollander, and Mike Myers.
