Luke Cage is back in the a**-kicking business on Netflix
It's been over a year since Netflix dropped the first season of Luke Cage.
Since then, his story took a little detour in Marvel's Defenders, but now the Unbreakable Man is back for his own story. Today, Netflix released the first teaser trailer for Luke Cage's second season and announced that it will return with new episodes on June 22.
As the new Netflix description of Season Two reads:
After clearing his name, Luke Cage has become a celebrity on the streets of Harlem with a reputation as bulletproof as his skin. But being so visible has only increased his need to protect the community and find the limits of who he can and can’t save. With the rise of a formidable new foe, Luke is forced to confront the fine line that separates a hero from a villain.
This first trailer shows the Harlem hero back cleaning up the streets, driven by his voiceover that says: "I'm Luke Cage. You can't burn me, you can't blast me, and you definitely can't break me. You want to test me? Step up. I'm right here."
Let's see what dummy takes Cage's challenge.
