The Al Manzil Hotel: The home of breakfast and seafood
Nezesaussi, short for New Zealand, South Africa and Australia, is the ultimate sports hub in Downtown Dubai. Sports fans gather to watch their game of choice while enjoying food from the tri-nation countries.
We get that "Nezesaussi" combines the three rugby playing, cricket loving countries in the Southern Hemisphere – New Zealand, South Africa and Australia – but just try searching for it on Google. And the starters had been cleared by the time we found the Twitter handle. Just one "z"? Another "e"?

Not that it matters much. If you like sport, love huge portions of superior pub grub and want a rattling, raucous place to enjoy both, this is still a cut above anything in Dubai – especially after a recent refurbishment.
Last year, it was a dark mahogany, richly carpeted bar that felt more Midtown New York than Melbourne. But the décor has been stripped back, brightened and, with the help of an open kitchen and some retro scoreboards, given a bit more of a contemporary bistro feel.

WATCH: Boulevard Kitchen: The home of seafood
Apart from sports, the Al Manzil Hotel also boasts truly magnificent seafood. Boulevard Kitchen - which sits alongside Nezesaussi - offers a fantastic seafood night each Thursday, with some of the freshest fish in the Emirate.
It’s decked out in white and Arabesque motifs, and it feels like a place where you can comfortably while away the hours. The menu is a fairly straightforward selection of classic Lebanese dishes, all served stylishly in rustic-looking pots on wooden boards. But it's the seafood that's the real star.
Boulevard Kitchen is open daily for Breakfast from 6.30 am until 11.30 am; Lunch from 12.30 pm until 5.00 pm; Dinner from 6.00 pm until 1.00 am. Seafood Night is every Thursday from 7.00pm until 11.00pm and on Fridays Levant Brunch is from 1.00pm until 4.00pm.
