Check out Batman's new Mercedes-Benz (well, it's Bruce Wayne's)
The Batmobile is going to be upstaged in the new Justice League flick. Mercedes-Benz has just released set photos that show off Bruce Wayne's new ride (well, the car he drives during the day, anyway). It's the Mercedes-Benz Vision Gran Turismo, and it looks super slick.
While Ben Affleck's new Batmobile is a mix of The Dark Knight's Tank-like Tumbler and Michael Keaton's Corvette-like motor, his civilian counterpart is an entirely more stylish affair.
The Vision Gran Turismo was originally developed for a video game on the PlayStation 3. Gran Turismo 6 - PlayStation's realistic racing sim - featured the car when it was released in 2013. Later that year, Mercedes-Benz unveiled a 1:1 scale model of the car, at the opening of its Research & Development Center in Sunnyvale, California.
During that same period, Zack Snyder was just sitting down to plan the extended DC Universe and decided that the Vision would be the perfect day-time accompaniment to Affleck's Batmobile.
The version that will appear in the film is an expanded version, custom-built for Justice League. It's been modified; adjusted to Ben Affleck's height and equipped with custom interiors.
