Bell & Ross BR V2 Garde-Côtes watches arrive in Dubai
Bell & Ross has announced two new additions to its Vintage line. The BR V2-92/94 Garde-Côtes was produced to celebrate the men and women who risk their lives in the Coast Guards.
From a visual standpoint, both watches take cues from the coast guard's high-visibility work wear. But the BR V2-92's homage is more than skin deep.
The first watch – the BR V2-92 Garde-Côtes – is a standard dive watch, created specifically with coast guard divers in mind. At 41mm, the steel timepiece features a bi-directional dive bezel and water-resistance down to 100-metres.
The watch is powered by an automatic calibre BR-CAL.302, with features central-running seconds, hours and minutes hands, along with a date window. The numerals, indices and hands are all coated in white Superluminova.
The second watch – the BR V2-94 – is a chronograph, with the same look and feel as the V2-92. It also has a few clever features, the top of the crown is a screw-down one, while the chrono-pushers are also screwed down. That makes the watch water-resistant to 100-metres.
Also, there's a scale on the chronograph's bezel that, unlike a traditional timescale, has an incorporated pulsometer scale, which is a very nice touch.
