Clarks Originals Kudu desert boots: your go-to fall footwear
Sure, calfskin and suede are fine. But if you really want to stunt on any shoe-obsessed folks in your life this fall, why not get into a pair made from something a little different? Clarks Originals just released a capsule of four styles—the Desert Boot, Wallabee, Desert Trek, and Weaver—made from soft but resilient Kudu antelope leather.
Clarks worked with leather specialists C. F. Stead on the uppers for the new shoes and boots. And instead of covering the scratches and marks on the hide with synthetic coatings, they decided to treat them with oils and waxes to enhance the natural imperfections that came from the kudu's life in the wild. That means every pair will be a little different, with its own set of markings.
That's not the only thing these kicks have going for them, though. Aside from the rich purple colorway—one you don't see much in the footwear world—they're crafted in Italy, something Clarks saves for special releases like this.
Whether you're a Wallabee guy or a DB devotee, if you're looking to add something truly unique to your fall rotation, you can't do much better than any of these. All four pairs retail for AED950 (US$260) and just dropped today. Don't sleep—these won't sit around for long.
