Buddha-Bar Beach to make Middle East debut in Abu Dhabi
If your thoughts on Buddha Bar Dubai are something along the lines of: "Nice, but needs more beach" then we've likely found the perfect venue for you. Buddha-Bar Beach is set to open later this year at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi, bringing Buddha Bar’s Pan-Asian cuisine, cocktails, and unbeatable atmosphere to the capital.
The Buddha-Bar concept was first born in France in 1996, thanks to the combined eclectic imagination of restaurateur Raymond Visan and DJ Claude Challe. Locations have since sprung up in numerous other countries, although not without having amassed their fair share of controversy considering the rather religious – or irreligious – theme of the bar.
The Abu Dhabi Buddha-Bar Beach will be the fourth of its kind in the world and the first one to be a permanent destination.
“The new exotic concept will go beyond expectations, offering signature sounds and fabulous food in a stunning setting with world-class beach and pool facilities. It is an enticing proposition for sophisticated guests and residents who love fine dining, music, and modern design,” said Marwan Fadel, Hotel Manager of The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi.
Buddha-Bar Beach takes an urban meets al fresco approach and will be open from morning until late. With maestro mixologists on hand to concoct exquisite cocktails to complement its gastronomic treats, the Buddha-Bar DJs provide the perfect musical soundtrack to ensure your ears as well as your appetite are well catered for.
Resting on pristine sands of the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort and affording panoramic views of the sea, the Buddha-Bar Beach is set to become your go-to location for a savvy, sophisticated, sun-soaked experience. Just don't expect to find a quiet place to meditate.
