Internet fame proves too much for 'Salt Bae'
Much in the same way that the limelight was too much for Britney, Salt Bae has had his own umbrella-wielding shaved head moment.
Chef and restauranteur Nusret Gökçe shot to fame after a video of his extravagant cooking - and in particular the flourish with which he applied salt - caught the imagination of bored internet users worldwide. And Rihanna. And Leo.
But poor Nusret flew too close to the sun as can be seen in the humble steak lover's latest video in which he dances with a dead animal, pulls a bunch of roses from its bum and then proceeds to salt the corpse as if he is icing a cake the size of the Dubai Mall.
Sure it's all good fun but you can't help feeling a price as been paid for the Likes as you watch him cavort around the kitchen tangoing with poor Babe in his arms.
So many questions must be answered: how many takes were needed to get the roses thrown seamlessly from the bottom to over the cameraman's head? Who decided "I Love You Baby" was the appropriate backing music to this porcine massacre tribute? And mostly importantly, Salt Bae, You ok hun?
