Puma's newest boot
Puma may have just released its most promising version of the Power line yet. Well, forgetting all specs, it certainly looks that way. On top of that it’s worn by Puma Power star Mario Balotelli, who, since moving to Nice, has scored quite a few goals. It seems a rather special boot is hitting the market.
The Evo Power Vigor 1 is the first in the Power family to have a stretchable spandex sock, which means an easy slip on, with a barefoot feeling. The spandex sock works in alignment with the AccuFoam technology, which features foam dots regulating uneven movements when striking the ball, which maximises precision on powerful strikes. In simple words, it helps you smash absolute screamers into the back of the net. On the bottom of the boot, Puma has gone with a mixture of plastic blades and metal studs. According to research the blades penetrate the ground perfectly, meaning stability is tip top and the conical studs promote agility.
Puma actually took to its Power stars to ensure the design was faultless. The sports giant's GM for team sports, Matthias Mecking, said; “In order to tackle the design, we closely examined our top players in action. We examined the way Olivier Giroud transfers every bit of power into strikes and Balotelli’s final third domination and powerful goals."
On top of some next level design the Evo Power Vigor 1 looks pretty slick too. The Gecko Green with a yellow finish and black Puma detailing is a suitable finish for today's footballers, who are far from colour-shy. Finally, the boot also has the iconic Puma form stripe and Evo Power branding on the tongue.
The Evo Power Vigor 1 is available for purchase in Puma stores across the region
