The world's most expensive iPhone 7
With the iPhone 7 launch only three weeks away, rumours have been rife surrounding just what the phone will look like and how it will yet again innovate the highly competitive smartphone market. There have even been whispers of Apple completely removing the headphone jack, with versions of the phone supposedly being available from 16GB all the way to a mammoth 256GB. Whatever the end result, the iPhone 7 promises to be bigger and better than previous renditions and will certainly be bought in shelf loads by avid Apple fans all over the world. Unfortunately for our wallets, it will also likely be quite a bit more expensive than any iPhone we have ever seen before, but not quite as pricy as Legend’s 24k gold iPhone 7.
Hand engraved and adorned with diamonds, luxury company Legend have created a fully customized iPhone 7 collection, allowing customers to obtain the smartphone of their wildest Scrooge McDuck-esque dreams. If you’ve ever wanted a phone more expensive than your car, then you are finally in luck.
We reckon these bad boys are just about bling enough for everyone, with the Classique Diamond edition being particularly eye-catching. Featuring 360 VVS1 grade diamonds, hand-set by an experienced jeweller to both the bezel and logo, the entire model totals at an impressive. 10.7 carats. However, Legend understand that this level of gold doesn't suit everyone's taste, so if you prefer alternative precious metal plating, you also have the option to choose between Rose Gold, Platinum and Black Rhodium. If you’re more of a leather man you can even get the device inlaid with Crocodile and Python leather (is that a Python in your pocket, or are you just happy to see us?). The choice is really up to you. Though we’d probably check with your significant other before splashing AED 12,270 on a new phone.
Taking pre-orders now, there is plenty of time to consult Legend’s bespoke designer before the iPhone 7 gets released. So what are you waiting for? Your next pay-cheque? Yeah. That’s probably a good idea.
