Camping in comfort with Tentsile Tents
We all know camping can be intense. Intense. In tents. Get it? Never mind. We also know that anyone who has ever been camping before has likely had to deal with the displeasure of trying to fall asleep while lying on awfully uneven ground. Don’t get us wrong - camping is a great way to experience the natural world but we can’t help but feel that that experience gets a little too close when you’ve got a dozen rocks digging into the bottom of your sleeping bag.
Thankfully it seems that the folks at Tentsile tents have come up with the solutions to all our prissy problems with an eco-friendly suspended tent. The Tentsile tent combines the comfort of a hammock with the security of a multi-person tent, with the lightweight treehouse design having been inspired by the Ewok tree village from Return of the Jedi.
The concept is simple and builds upon the fact that forests will only survive if trees are given an added value to us humans. Because unfortunately enough the fact that they provide us with oxygen isn’t a valid enough reason to stop us cutting them down. The tents work by relying on tension between three points suspended between trees, with these being perfect for any terrain as long as there are trees available. Even if no trees are around you can still use it as a normal tent, so don’t be hesitant just because you live in a locale more akin to Tatooine than Endor.
Not only are these tents an extremely cool way to experience camping, they are also aiming to have a positive impact on the environment as well. For every one tent bought, Tentsile will plant three trees into the wild, promising that there is hope for the forests of the future and ensuring that there will always be three trees available for you to hitch your tent onto. If that isn’t a good enough incentive then we don’t know what is. Happy camping.
