Louis Vuitton has dabbled in just about everything; from its core luggage and travel roots and ultra-iconic ready-to-wear fashion to the quirky novelty items like LV-branded burger boxes. The latest addition to the LV roster? A brand new men’s fine jewelry line.
Inspired by LV’s grandson Gaston-Louis Vuitton, the collection is aptly titled ‘Les Gastons Vuitton’ in a play on words, merging Vuitton’s grandson’s name with les garçons, or ‘the boys’ in French.
‘Les Gastons Vuitton’ features a total of 18 masculine pieces and is inspired by Gaston’s personality traits and his embodiment of modern masculinity. Louis Vuitton’s artistic director of watches and jewelry, Francesca Amfitheatrof, has likened the collection to a pair of well-loved denim, saying, “This collection is a bit like your pair of jeans. Everyone owns a pair of jeans and the more you wear your jeans, the more you love them.”
The diamond-adorned lineup consists of pendants, rings, necklaces, earrings, and more, ranging in price from about $2,000 for a single Trunk diamond stud to nearly $158,500 for the Masterpiece Gourmet necklace that stuns with more than 13 carats of white diamonds on a bed of white gold.
The ‘Les Gastons Vuitton’ collection is available in select Louis Vuitton stores worldwide and online.
