We’ve got a Sad Song for you, Oasis, fans: Liam Gallagher’s appearance at the upcoming Club Social event in Abu Dhabi has been cancelled, the event announced.
So that you don’t look back in anger, this isn’t a goodbye. In fact, the event promises that Liam Gallagher will play a concert at a rescheduled date, and your current Club Social ticket will get you in–even if you use it this weekend.
Gallagher was set to hit the Club Social stage on Saturday, October 29, though his spot will now be taken by EXAMPLE.
English musician, singer, songwriter, rapper, and record producer, EXAMPLE will be performing a wide range of his floor-fillers to make for a fantastic Saturday night of entertainment. Fans will want to make sure they “Stay Awake” and not miss all the action as EXAMPLE will make you feel like “Kids Again”. Make sure you’re the “Last Ones Standing” at the end of the night and don’t miss any of the eclectic range of hits from the multi-award-winning artist.

Club Social: A fantastic event beyond Liam Gallagher
The third edition of the Abu Dhabi-born 3-day festival Club Social is returning in October—and bringing some of the most popular British acts of the last decades along for the ride.
Running on Yas Island from October 28 to 30, the event will see Kaiser Chiefs, Clean Bandit and now EXAMPLE perform.
Kaiser Chiefs will perform on night one on October 28, with their hits ‘I Predict A Riot’ and ‘Ruby’ sure to make the setlist.
Clean Bandit, the group behind ‘Rockabye’, will co-headline night 1 , and will be performing a DJ set.
Sunday October 30 will also be home to Club Social’s Battle of the Bands, with some of the UAE’s best homegrown talent duking it out.
